Lake Placid Middle 2025-2026 Any upcoming 6th, 7th, 8th graders for LPM: Cheerleader tryouts are April 28th thru May 1st from 3:45 to 5:30pm in the LPMS Gym. Students must have a COMPLETED sports physical turned in and uploaded to athletic clearance located on the LPM website BEFORE coming to first day of tryouts. No Physical = No Tryouts I strongly encourage you to get this done soon.

This afternoon Lake Placid Middle School was inadvertently put on a brief lockdown. The lockdown was quickly lifted and law-enforcement verified that this was an accidental initiation of the lockdown process. There was no threat to the school and at no time was the campus in any danger.
