This year, we’re giving away 5 MORE CARS -- one at each graduation -- bringing our total to a whopping 105 students who got a lift (literally) into adulthood for turning in their A’s!📚😎
🗓️ Now, don’t miss your deadline:
👉 Hardee & Clewiston -- turn in your A’s by May 3rd!
👉Lake Placid , Sebring & Avon Park -- your deadline is May 10th!
Your report card could win you a car, and the finish line is near! Keep pushing, seniors -- We're cheering you on, and looking forward to seeing you walk the stage!

Congratulations to Kinston Ridgeway, from Sebring High School, who represented Highlands County as our 2025 Sunshine State Scholar in Orlando this weekend. Each year, one 11th grader from each Florida county is selected by the district for their outstanding achievements in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.) This is a tremendous honor and we congratulate Kinston on this recognition! #sunshinestatescholars

Huge shoutout to our amazing Sebring High School Health Occupation Student Organizarion (HOSA) students who represented Highlands County with pride at the Florida HOSA State Leadership Conference!
Out of over 30,000 HOSA members in Florida, only the top 4,500 earned the chance to compete at the state championship—and our students showed up and showed out!
FIVE of our students placed in the Top 5 in the entire state!
Maya VanDam – 4th place in Medical Assisting
Miguel Espidol, Vivek Krishnadas, Xavier Hood, and Samantha Cruz – 4th place in HOSA Bowl
Even beyond those big wins, all 14 of our state team members did an incredible job, with many placing among the Top 16 in Florida in their events. We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, professionalism, and dedication.
HOSA is a national student organization that prepares future healthcare leaders through hands-on learning, competition, and leadership opportunities. It’s a big deal—and these students have spent countless hours studying, practicing skills, and building their confidence to shine at this level.
Please help us celebrate this amazing team for an outstanding year!
Highlands County was well-represented—and the future of healthcare is looking bright!
A Huge Thank You to Our Incredible Sponsors!
We are beyond grateful for the generous support that helped our HOSA students make it to the State Leadership Conference (SLC)! This amazing opportunity wouldn’t have been possible without the kindness and encouragement of our community.
